Junior’s Guide to the Maine Coast

The Maine Coast Junior hiking camp is located in the town of Kennebunkport, Maine. Hikers are given a map and compass to find their way around the hiking trails that cover over 700 acres of land. Some hiking trails take you through forests or up rocky cliffs, while others lead along secluded beaches. The hiking camps are designed for children aged 8-14 years old, but younger children are welcome to come hiking with their parents or guardians.
Hikers can choose between day hiking camps, overnight hiking camps and weeklong hiking camps at the Maine Coast Junior. As well as spending time in nature on trails, campers get to enjoy regular swimming sessions down by the ocean. They will also have a chance to try out some water sports if they would like to challenge themselves further outdoors!
Maine Coast Junior runs from June until September every year so there is plenty of opportunities for your child to join in on this wonderful program filled with adventure and fun outdoors!
